BOA Technology Korea has officially announced the release of Form TX 3 and Base TX 2, new textile materials set to replace the previous Form TX 2 and Base TX models. These updates not only ensure compliance with tightening global PFAS regulations but also strengthen BOA’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in footwear design.
Form TX 3: No PFAS, Better Precision
To align with PFAS restrictions in Europe and North America, BOA has launched Form TX 3 – a non-PTFE, eco-compliant guide featuring a curved stitch line for easier visual differentiation.
●Applicable Season: From 26FW across workwear, outdoor, and athletic lines
●Colors & Price: 12 colors, same pricing as TX 2
●Form TX 2 Phase-Out Date: June 30, 2027
●Production Note: Ensure no mixing with TX 2, and maintain a 5–8mm distance from centerline to stitch line
♻️ Base TX 2: 100% Recycled, Same High Performance
With sustainability becoming a global priority, BOA now offers Base TX 2 – made entirely from 100% recycled material while maintaining the durability and functionality of the original.
●Applicable Season:
○Workwear: Already applied to all orders (including re-orders)
○Outdoor & Athletic: Full transition by 26SS, currently used in some orders
●Color Range: 16 core colors (reduced from previous version)
●Base TX Phase-Out Date: June 30, 2026
